In the state of Wyoming the state Nursing Board handles the registration of newly certified CNA’s. A person must undergo a state approved training program and then test through Pearson Vue to be eligible to appear on the Wyoming CNA Registry. The nice thing about Wyoming rules, is that they will allow you to work as a nurse aide prior to getting your CNA certification, under a temporary permit. This is a great option for those still taking CNA classes in Cheyenne, Casper, Laramie, or your specific city. These permits are good for up to 120 days depending on the permit type, and allow a person to get a job and begin their career prior to establishing credentials for such.
