The first section is multiple choice, and covers information learned during your training. If you are still unsure or nervous about the test, there are practice test questions made available online to familiarize yourself with the type of questions that will be asked. The second test section is a practical exam. You will be asked to perform a certain number of CNA skills while observed by an examiner. This part of the test is best prepared for through practicing the skills you learned during your course. Skills such as taking a person blood pressure, administering medications and taking other vitals.

A person applying for CNA certification in Delaware must also be fingerprinted and undergo drug testing and criminal background checks. Once these items are complete and the test has been passed you would then be placed on the Delaware CNA Registry and be able to start applying for jobs in nursing homes, care centers or hospitals.
